The Grey Marsh  -  Day 2

With no better direction to take, I follow the water. The swamp is beautiful, a vast reserve of untouched natural wonders. Unlike many other parts of Telanya, the Marsh seems unadorned by the stone remnants of the ancient world. The small hills are bare of foundation stones from fallen towers. The rivers show no signs of bridges having ever been built. I have found no old iron or steel tools rusting in the bog. I keep in mind Ieya's warning that the Marsh is home to terrible creatures, but so far I have seen no evidence of anything more ferocious than a colossal toad, which, I admit, terrified me when I nearly slipped into it's pond. However, I must not make quick conclusions. The Marsh is huge, and I have only been here two days.
